The second step in creating a blog is to decide on a name for your blog. Choose the name carefully to reflect the theme of your topic.

The name and url or the link of your blog can be different. For example, I have a blog named "Home". But the url (link) or the blog address is: http://buyingsellinghome.blogspot.com/

So for my blog I filled in the information like this:

Blog Title: Home

Blog address (url): buyingsellinghome

Note I did not have to write blogspot.com etc. It is already given there.

First I wrote home in the url column. And clicked on "Check Availability". I got the message that blog is already taken. Then I tried "buyingsellinghome". And that was available.

So after you think of a Blog address and enter the url, you have to click on "Check availability".

Now I have to click continue to go on to step three.
